so here's how the story goes.
the boy called at arnd 545ish saying that i was invited to his house to break fast.
the next thing i knw was that i was freaking out cause its a BIG DEAL, a HUGE DEAL, well for me at least.
i told moms & she smilingly asked me to go ahead.
then there was this half an hour rush to get ready, rush to pack bag, rush to go out, rush to meet the boyf, rush to board the train...
& the next thing i knw was that i was sitting in between his sister and his baby nephew.
then there's all that "uh eat eat eat summore, uh eat laa dont shy shy"
ate, smiled, ate, smiled, drank, perspired, smiled.
YES, i was that shy.
i cant make conversations.
i find it very awkward.
but i thank god ive been tutoring so it wasnt really like first timer kindarf thing.
& thats the story of last minute plan dinner with boyf's 3/4 family, gone RIGHT (:
after 3plus years, ive finally been cordially invited to the nice, humbling, family affair.
it felt surprisingly great.
it was kindarf short thou cause i "escaped" next door to tutor the nephew.
when i was leaving, i was even invited to do the break fast thing every tuesday&thursday when im over tutoring cause there wont be enough time for me to eat something before i leave the house.
but durhhhhhhh, i'll only go if the boy's gna be home from work.
:D
i dont knw how to describe the whole experience.
i only get to go to his house every raya & this june i started to tutor at his brother's place which is just next door to his.
this tells that both our family is not the modern-you-can-bring-your-bf/gf-over-anytime-you-want kind.
& im glad we're brought up like that.
i mean, YES, i dont deny that i'd love it if my parents or his(usually its the boy's parents who're more liberal) allow the your gf/bf to come over anytime & hang out, watch tv, eat & sleepover even.
but i guess, thats what makes us different.
physical closeness is not everything a relationship needs, i believe.
anydingiedongs, the boy's joining my family this sunday to break fast at town INVITED BY THE FATHER & it seems like dad's been asking ALOT abt "nizam"(hahahah! YES. he's confused with Nor Azan Firdaus, so he just gave him a phony name & moms been saying its AZAN laaa) lately.
so i guess, we've both been a HIT at each other's household & its HUGE that dad has FINALLY acknowledge his girl has a boyf.
at this rate, we'll be engaged next week & married next month.
HAHAHAH! wait long long la ehk....... :P
